University of Colorado Engineering Council

You are here

The University of Colorado Engineering Council (UCEC) is a student government with elected representatives representing the student body of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. UCEC acts as the students' voice to the engineering administration and academic departments, as well as within the University of Colorado Student Government (CUSG) and groups like the Office of Information Technology (OIT). We function as the intermediaries between students and administrators by representing the concerns and ideas of our student members. In this manner, all student members can share their opinions and improve their relationship with the administration. The UCEC also sponsors annual events, such as E-Days, where individual engineering societies host shows and competitions to encourage a fun and collaborative learning environment.

We encourage you to become active participants within the engineering discipline and the College of Engineering and Applied Science! The UCEC and its associated engineering societies are a great way to network, socialize, and gain experience with students sharing similar interests.  Our Societies page has a list of engineering societies that will help you make the most of your college experience.

Our website is provided as a resource for students within the College of Engineering and Applied Science. We welcome your involvement! If you have questions concerning the role of the UCEC, please contact one of our members or use the contact information to the right.
