Identifies additional grant and research funding sources for the faculty, builds interdisciplinary faculty teams for larger research efforts, and acts as a liaison between industrial companies interested in research and college faculty.

Liaison between the college and Office of Contracts and Grants, supporting CEAS faculty and staff with research administration functions by monitoring awards processing (negotiating phase of the contract or grant) and handling issues as they arise.  Also assists faculty with non-disclosure agreement requests and other non-sponsored agreements that are negotiated by the Technology Transfer Office or CU’s Legal Counsel.

Provides overall direction and consult including writing, editing, and process management, for large-scale research proposal efforts representing $1 M in annual funding and above. Leads implementation of proposal production, quality control, versioning, and archiving methods, and works with Assistant Dean of Research to maintain central Proposal Resource Library for faculty.
