An engineering degree from the University of Colorado Boulder is highly regarded, but we know not every student can live in Boulder. Our partnership program with Colorado Mesa University gives students the chance to earn a CU Boulder mechanical, civil engineering or electrical, computer and energy engineering degree entirely in Grand Junction. The first two years of the program are taught by CMU faculty and the second two years are taught by CU Boulder faculty who live in Grand Junction. The partnership follows the same hands-on curriculum as CU Boulder, beginning with the earliest first-year classes and culminating in a year-long senior design project.
