Engineering Ambassadors in 2012

The Engineering Ambassadors are a group of students aimed at promoting engineering and engineers outreach. Ambassadors give tours of the Engineering Center, preside on panels, and work closely with the Engineering Dean's Office in the organization and planning of various activities.

Q: What is an Engineering Ambassador?

An ambassador is someone who is a representative of the College of Engineering and Applied Science and a liaison between students and Engineering Sampler and Student for a Day tours.

Q: Why become an Engineering Ambassador?

  • You get to help recruit students to the university;
  • You can meet new people in the college;
  • You get involved, which is crucial in a large university;
  • You have the opportunity to network with faculty, industry representatives, and the Dean's Office;
  • You can work on your public speaking skills;
  • You will be invited to attend the end of the semester dinner for students who have participated in events throughout the semester.
