All-Day Visit Programs
CU-Boulder offers a variety of all-day visit programs for those who really want to get to know our campus community. These include the CU-Boulder Engineering Sampler, Be a CU Student for a Day, and programs designed for students who are underrepresented in the engineering fields. See the Undergraduate Admissions website for dates and details.
Engineering Center Complex: If you are unable to attend one of the above tours or visit programs, you can take a self-guided tour whenever the Engineering Center is open (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m.). Use our self-guided tour brochure (also available in the Engineering Lobby) as your guide as you make a giant loop through the Engineering Center. The tour includes facilities for each department along with the BOLD Center, Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory, and the Discovery Learning Center.
Integrated Teaching & Learning Laboratory: This award-winning experiential learning facility includes interactive exhibits through which people of all ages can learn about different aspects of engineering, as well as views into the building's structural and operating systems through its innovative "inside-out" design. Many of the school's First Year Engineering Projects are created in the ITL Laboratory and demonstrated to the community at an Engineering Design Expo at the end of each semester. The ITL Laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Discovery Learning Center: This high-tech addition to the Engineering Center supports the valuable integration of undergraduate students into the college's research mission.
