Preparing to Register

For all students, we recommend that you prepare your schedule well in advance of your registration enrollment appointment.  It is also a good idea to have some backup classes selected in case your top choice class is already full. The following resources can be very useful in helping you plan your schedule:

  • The Registrar's website offers step-by-step instructions on how to register for classes, videos and tutorials, and an FAQ.
  • Faculty Course Questionnaire (FCQ) results from previous years may provide insights into particular courses and/or instructors.
  • The Online University Catalog is another great resource. The catalog provides full course descriptions (including course pre-requisites, restrictions, etc.) as well as degree requirements and a variety of other useful information.

See Undergraduate FAQs on Registration for more information.
