Welcome to the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, where we teach engineering to K-12 students and teachers as well as college-level undergraduate and graduate students. We offer the following programs and resources to help serve you:
What is Engineering?
Fundamentally, engineering is about creating things for the benefit of society. Engineers have developed the world’s communication, transportation and building infrastructures, while also making it possible for people to live longer, healthier lives.
Kids & Parents
If your child likes to build things (or take them apart) and has an inquisitive nature, you can encourage this by attending any one of a number of CU engineering outreach activities.
Explore Engineering Careers as a High School Student
As a high school student, you have probably started thinking about college. If you are considering pursuing an engineering degree, we recommend you take advantage of the high school opportunities the College of Engineering and Applied Science offers to help plan your education.
Resources for K-12 Teachers
Are you looking for ways to teach math and science concepts that will be fun and engaging for upper elementary and middle school students? We offer professional development workshops and classroom resources that will help you engage your students in learning about the world around them.
