The CU Engineering Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD) Board seeks to unite recent alumni with one another and with the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The board hosts events and organizes volunteer opportunities so alumni can stay involved and connected. The board also recognizes the achievements of graduates through the Recent Alumni Award, which is presented at the Engineering Awards Banquet held each spring.
We’ve had some great events — from hosting a pool party for graduating seniors to renting the rooftop at a Rockies game to facilitating a behind-the-scenes tour of Lockheed Martin. If you’ve graduated from CU Engineering in the last 10 years, be on the lookout for our events this year — we’d love to meet you.
GOLD Pool Party
Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016
All CU engineering seniors planning to graduate in December 2016, May 2017 or August 2017 are invited to kick off the school year with a pool party at the Rec Center, hosted by the Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Board. Soon-to-be graduates can enjoy pool games, free food, music and prizes while mingling with CU engineering graduates from the last decade. Look for more information by email as the date approaches.
Oct. 13-15, 2016
Reunite with thousands of Forever Buffs in Boulder as you reminisce and share your CU pride. You can attend the annual Alumni Awards ceremony celebrating the best and brightest of CU, savor the flavors of local alumni brewers during Buffs on Tap and cheer on the Buffs at Folsom Field. More information can be found on the Alumni Association website.
