How does my support impact the college?
100% of a gift of any amount made for the college through the University of Colorado Foundation goes directly to whatever it is you want to support. In this case, you will choose to direct your gift to a specific department or degree program. The funds will then be applied where they are needed most, at the discretion of the department chair or program director.
Where does the rest of the funding for the college come from?
The college’s budget is comprised of various funding sources including money from the state, tuition fees and gifts from private donors. We all have been nurtured by CU Engineering and have benefited from the generosity of past Buffs in making our education possible, and now it’s our turn to make sure that this vital piece of the pie nourishes future CEAS students.

What about privacy and security issues?
Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of processing your gift. Online giving is done through a secure web site to ensure that your credit card information is protected. Additionally, a student's decision whether or not to participate in the class gift will have no effect on his or her grades or academic record.
