Be supported.

To ensure your success, the college provides a number of support services.

  • Academic advising is an important part of your student success. Undergraduates are matched with academic advisors by major. Advisors help you access resources, make connections, and understand your degree requirements.
  • Engineering Ambassadors are fellow engineering students who offer peer advising, mentoring, help with choosing a major, and training in study skills.
  • BOLD Center offers free tutoring to students from introductory math and science to junior level coursework.
  • Engineering Career Services offers free services for students, and alumni up to one year after graduation. We help students bridge the gap between their academics and the world of work, collaborating with such companies as Google, Lockheed Martin and Shell.
  • BuffTalks offer forums for panelists and CU alumni from industry to talk about their careers and give advice to current students.
  • The First-Year Experience Director will help you have a successful transition to college during your first year.
