Bioengineering and Materials Science

Membrane Applied Science and Technology Center (MAST), continued

Our new multi-site operation has made pos-sible exciting new center thrusts involving water treatment, biomedical and pharmaceutical, and sensor applications in membrane science and engineering. The expansion of our research program will facilitate interactions between the universities as well as among the departments of chemical, mechanical, and civil engineering, chemistry and physics and health sciences including pharmacy and medicine.

The center research program should now provide even more opportunities for undergraduate and graduate student participation in membrane science research through center-sponsored and center spin-off projects. http://www.colorado.edu/che/mast
