Multicultural Engineering Program

MEP Expands Outreach through Partnership with Colorado MESA

MEP is back! Following a two-year interval the Success in Engineering through Excellence and Diversity (SEED) Program, the program has gone back to being MEP, which now stands for the Multicultural Engineering Program. The return to MEP is a result of input from alumni, students, and the program's industry advisory council.

After many years of intense focus on student retention, MEP is now developing a bonafide outreach and recruitment mission and strategy. This effort has spawned strong partnerships with pre-college organizations, such as Colorado MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement). More

 

Women in Engineering Program

WIEP Builds Community of Support for Women through College

For women from diverse regions and backgrounds enrolled in the College of Engineering, the challenges to find commonality and acceptance are great. The Women in Engineering Program encourages the development of a strong community of support and guidance for all women engineering students and promotes mentoring among experienced engineering students and the college faculty by sponsoring a variety of retention and outreach activities.
