Engineering
Management Marks Broad-Based Expansion
The Lockheed Martin Engineering
Management Program has undergone a significant expansion in the
last four years, bringing it to the point of being a significant
educational center for technical management education.
The 14-year-old program
directed by William Daughton still maintains its fundamental roots
in providing continuing professional education for practicing engineers,
but it has expanded from a single curriculum to offer multi-track
alternatives in quality and process, R&D, and operations. The strength
of this core graduate education is the flexibility that distance
education provides to working engineers and the mix of theory and
practice embedded in the courses.
