The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is ranked in the top 20 programs in the United States, and features a strong emphasis on undergraduate research, innovative teaching methods, a high level of interaction between faculty and students, and a cooperative education program.

We have bachelor’s programs in Chemical Engineering and Chemical and Biological Engineering.  The Chemical Engineering program has curriculum options that allow interested students to specialize in areas such as computers, environmental engineering, bioengineering, and materials.  Both degree programs have an associated Pre-Medicine Curriculum for students considering continuing on to medical school.  Detailed curriculum plans are available in our current department HELP Guide.
