Safety Training

Training for Transport of Compressed Gas Cylinders and Liquid Nitrogen Dewars

Bobby Sebra researching All Faculty and Students who intend to use Compressed Gas Cylinders are required to pass "Safety Training for Transportation of the Cylinders".

There is first a PowerPoint Presentation for you to review. After reviewing the slides in the PowerPoint presentation there is a written exam that must be completed and submitted to the Safety Training Coordinator.

Download and complete the Written Exam.

Department of Environmental Health and Safety

If you handle hazardous materials, you must be formally trained on how to handle and appropriately dispose of these materials.
Environmental Health and Safety provides training courses each month. You can attend these courses for initial instruction or as a refresher course. The initial instruction must be completed within six months of beginning work with hazardous materials.
