Balsells International Mobility Program

The Balsells International Mobility Program is a unique opportunity for students in the Catalonia region of Spain to complete their final projects at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science. The program provides the opportunity to complete a semester research internship in a campus engineering lab.

Requirements/Benefits

  • Participants must be citizens and permanent residents of Spain.
  • Participants must be legal residents of Catalonia (at least for the last 12 months) and must be registered with their local town, city or village hall.
  • Demonstrate interest in MS and PhD studies in the U.S.
  • Intend to apply for the Balsells Graduate Program.
  • Have intermediate English proficiency and advanced academic standing.
  • Obtain academic and professional development.
  • Receive a monthly stipend and international transportation reimbursement 

Application

  • For spring semester, applications should be submitted by September 15.
  • For fall semester, applications should be submitted by February 15.
  • Please submit a statement of interest, curriculum vita and academic transcript.
