Balsells International Mobility Program in Bioengineering

The Balsells International Mobility Program is a unique opportunity for undergraduate students in the Catalonia region of Spain to complete their mobility projects in bioengineering at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science. The program provides the opportunity to complete a semester research internship in a campus engineering lab.

Requirements/Benefits

  • Participants must be citizens and permanent residents of Spain.
  • Demonstrate interest in PhD studies in the U.S.
  • Intend to apply for the Balsells Graduate Program.
  • Have intermediate English proficiency and advanced academic standing.
  • Obtain academic and professional development.
  • Receive international and local transportation, room and board for one semester, research supplies, and faculty mentorship.

Application

  • For spring semester, applications should be submitted by September 15.
  • For fall semester, applications should be submitted by February 15.
  • Please submit a statement of interest, curriculum vita and academic transcript.
