CU-Boulder Career Services offers students across all disciplines assistance in building career skills, searching for jobs and internships, and learning resume and interview presentation skills in order to prepare for success after graduation. In addition, the College of Engineering and Applied Science features a dedicated Career Services liaison to help students with industry-specific career questions, and hosts career events and workshops specifically for engineering students.

Career and Internship Fairs
Career Services organizes a Fall Career Fair in September. Approximately 180 local and national companies attend the fair to conduct preliminary screenings, accept student resumes, and arrange industry-based internships. In addition to the fall fair in September, Career Services coordinates the following other career fairs on campus throughout the academic year: Non-Profit Career Fair (November), Spring Career Fair (January), and Just-in-Time Hiring Fair (April).
Career Services organizes contacts between students and employers throughout the country, including small private enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Employers offer three internship options: work one or more semesters full-time (called a "co-op"); work part-time with a local employer during the academic year; or work full-time during the summer. Students find their internships through career fairs, strategic networking (coaching provided by Career Services), on-campus employer events, online listings, and on-campus interviews.
Graduating students have the opportunity to interview on campus with a variety of employers in a supportive environment. Students also have access to hundreds of current position listings nationwide through Career Buffs, access to Career Services' database of over 12,000 employers, and their resumes are eligible for referrals to employers who request resumes.
Career Services brings hundreds of potential employers to CU each year, both "live" and online. We coordinate six career and internship fairs, many employer presentations, 16 weeks of on-campus interviewing, and the Career Buffs system for job listings and interview schedules.
