MEP sponsors a yearly awards banquet to recognize outstanding MEP students, staff and contributors.  The event is usually held in April.

The Banquet is an event where the MEP community comes together and celebrates the accomplishments of MEP over the previous year.  It is also a networking opportunity for students, where corporate and business representatives are invited to join students and staff over dinner to discuss everyday engineering practice.  Prospective students are also invited, making it a premier recruitment event.  The Banquet helps raise funds for MEP scholarships and programs, ensuring MEP's future as a leading vehicle for retaining students in engineering undergraduate studies.

This year's Banquet, held on April 4, was a great success, with alumni pledging a new endowment.  More details on the Banquet will be coming soon!

MULTICULTURAL CAREER FAIR

In September, the University sponsors a campus-wide Career Fair.  The Multicultural Career Fair, generally held the night before, is designed to encompass all CU-Boulder minority students seeking employment information, career opportunities, and internships.  MEP has a long history with the Multicultural Career Fair.
