Course Objectives:

1.      Students will learn MEMS in details through design and numerical simulations of MEMS electro-thermal-mechanical behaviors.

2.      Students will establish their MEMS CAD skills covering numerical and analytical approaches through CoventorWare tutorials and lab assignments.

3.      Students will learn MEMS design synthesis through design competitions and review of latest MEMS research papers.

Office Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Wednesdays (ECME 122); emails are preferred.

Course Schedule: Lecture: 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., Wednesdays (ME Conference Room A). Students will learn the tutorials and conduct the lab assignments all by themselves.
