Spring Break 2008
In March 2008 over spring break, several SEVEN members went on a five day rafting trip on the San Juan river in south-east Utah. The trip was a great success, and hopefully SEVEN will do a yearly trip like this.
Spring 2007: SEVEN meets every other Thursday at 6:00 pm in ECOT 831.
Email Anna.Herring@colorado.edu for more information.
Fall 2007: Sustainable CU Grant
The main SEVEN project in the fall 2007 semester was installing motion sensor lighting in Hellems. This project was funded by a Sustainable CU grant. SEVEN recognized that there is a need for this sort of project because frequently lights in classrooms are left on unnecessarily -- all night in some cases. Hopefully, this project will help the University save energy and money, as well as raise awareness about energy conservation.
