American History Archive Project

This project is geared towards upper elementary and middle school students. It is based on the idea of learning history through inquiry, and provides links to many original sources, as well as a distributed problem-solving project called Time Detectives, and support for teachers to use constructivist ideas in their classrooms. This project is part of the Institute for Learning Technologies at Columbia University.
