Art History
Rome and the Nolli Map
This web site provides a map of Rome as an interface
to a multimedia database. Users can explore the city by zooming in on
particular regions of the map, or can use a variety of search tools to
access information.
The Piero Project/ECIT
The goal of the Piero Project is to provide on-line resources to help
students solve art historical problems in new ways. The project represents
a series of historical and intellectual relationships in such a way that
students can discover them for themselves in the context of classroom
dialogue. In addition to a database structured around four main categories
in art history: artifacts, people, content, and context, the project includes
several 3-D models of images of paintings in their proper architectural
context.
