Colorado's telecommunications graduate program is preparing to welcome a new director and one to two new faculty members during the third and fourth quarters of 2000. The director search has yielded top candidates from higher education and industry. Interviews for a new assistant professorship in networking and digital telecommunications are scheduled for May and June. More

 

Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program
Engineering Management Courses Gain in Popularity as Technical Electives
Graduate and undergraduate courses offered by the Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program are increasingly being chosen by students as technical electives in their degree programs. In the latter part of 1998, the program launched initiatives to increase the visibility of these courses and create an opportunity for undergraduate engineering majors to take an integrated set of technical electives in business and management. In addition, more spaces were made available in graduate courses for students not enrolled in the program. More
