Bioprocessing Module (BPM) The BPM is an early JSC design used to contain and mix fluids in space. It consists of 3 syringes connected to a 3-way valve allowing fluid to be pushed from any one chamber into another depending on valve configuration. BioServe first used BPM’s aboard STS-37.
