SUBJECT: Boulder Police need help to identify sexual assault suspect

Boulder Police release sketch of early-morning sex assault suspect and need
your help.

Boulder Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect
allegedly involved in an early-morning sex assault near the area of 28th
and Baseline Saturday morning.

The victim described the suspect as a light-skinned black male with glasses and
green eyes. He is about 6'0" tall with a medium build. He has a three-inch long
light brown afro, and may have been wearing a pick in his hair. At the time of the
assault he was wearing a purple shirt with neon-green lettering, along with khaki
pants.

The victim is an 18-year-old resident of Boulder. She was walking alone to a
fast-food restaurant along the 28th Street frontage road at about 4:30 Saturday
morning. She heard footsteps and was grabbed from behind, and then was sexually
assaulted. The victim's arm had been broken several weeks ago, and it was
broken again during the assault.
