FUN RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR KIDS!
The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and
Neuroscience has on-going projects on memory and language development! We
welcome all children from birth to age 10. A visit, scheduled at your
convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Parking is free and babysitting is
available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a
fun prize and a certificate!

ANTH 4610 IS OPEN IN SUMMER SESSION
ANTH 4610 Medical Anthropology
Learn about the cultural and socioeconomic dimensions of illness, health, and
the body. Topics to be covered include: HIV/AIDS in Africa, the global trade in
human organs and tissues, social inequality and race, political economy and
global health, substance abuse in the US, the social construction of illness,
medical pluralism, the medicalization of intersexuality and menopause, and
more. Meets during A Term, M-F 12:25-2:20 pm. Restricted to juniors or seniors.

CALL FOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION SUMMIT SESSION PROPOSALS - DUE 6/12/2012
The Diversity and Inclusion Planning Committee is seeking proposals for the
2012 Diversity and Inclusion Summit held at CU-Boulder on Nov. 13-15.
Proposals should identify innovative and progressive action toward diversity,
inclusion, and social justice at all levels of human and social interaction.
Session proposals should clearly explain how they meet the conference theme and
promote "Awareness, Movement, and Practice" through identifying actions and
intended outcomes. Proposals due to odece@colorado.edu by June 12, 2012.
