    The Bursar's Office will open at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 so

    FREE MOVEMENT WORKSHOPS FEB. 6-8

    Visiting Guest Mauro Sacchi will be leading workshops Monday-Wednesday,
    Feb. 6-8, 7 p.m. in W325 (in the Theatre & Dance building). An Italian
    performer currently working in Taipei, his workshops will focus on the interplay
    between text and performance, and bridging the line between acting and
    dancing. These workshops are free and open to CU students; all experience

    DEMOCRACY AND DEVELOPMENT IN BOLIVIA - GLOBAL SEMINAR STUDY ABROAD
    PROGRAM

    Earn three credits in about three weeks while studying democracy and
    development in this off-the-beaten-path South American destination: Coroico,
    Bolivia. Current Bolivian politics are dynamic and innovative. You will gain an
    inside perspective of the livelihood strategies and political organization of
    rural Yungas communities with a unique cultural and agricultural history. Learn

    DANTE IN FLORENCE - STUDY ABROAD SUMMER 2012

    Do you need to fulfill upper-division Literature and the Arts core? Spend
    three weeks with CU-Boulder's Suzanne Magnanini in Italy, wandering Florence's
    historic streets. Learn about Dante, his Inferno and paintings and frescoes
    inspired by the poem. You don't have to know Italian - you just have to want to
    spend part of your summer studying in Italy. Come learn more on Wednesday,

    GLOBAL SEMINAR IN SOUTH AFRICA: SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS

    'Social Engagement and Human Rights: The South African Model' is a Global
    Seminar led by Professor Alphonse Keasley. This program spends time in Soweto
    and Cape Town and includes guest lecturers from local universities and site
    visits to the Apartheid museum, the Constitutional Court, District Six and
    Robben Island. Open to all majors, fulfills UD Human Diversity Core. Learn more

    LOCAL HERO SHANNON GALPIN DISCUSSES EDUCATION IN CONFLICT REGIONS

    CU Educaid is bringing Mountain2Mountain founder Shannon Galpin to speak
    at CU Boulder on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. in ATLAS 100.
    Mountain2Mountain is a Colorado based non-profit that works to create
    sustainable education and training programs within local communities in conflict
    and post-conflict regions that encompass women, men and their children.
