HISTORY BUFF? LOVE OLD PHOTOS OF THE CU-BOULDER CAMPUS?
The J. Raymond Brackett Collection is available in the CU Digital Library,
accessible from Chinook. Brackett came to CU-Boulder in 1884 to teach English
and Greek. Until retirement in 1919, he served as Librarian and Dean of Arts
and Sciences and the Graduate School. His photographs and glass negatives of
campus scenes and buildings were arranged and described by Professor Albert
Bartlett, Department of Physics and member of the University Centennial
Commission.
