    From protests against factory farms to movements promoting workers' rights and sustainable food, Food Justice represents one of the most prominent faces of Environmental Justice. Food Justice seeks to ensure that all communities have equal ability to grow, sell and eat healthy food regardless of race or social class.     MEDICAL MARIJUANA PRESENTATION AND Q&A

    Is medical marijuana a legitimate treatment for disease? Are there negative long-term effects of THC use? Should marijuana be legalized? The Student Association for Pre-Health Professionals will host guest speaker Ryan Newsom, a
    Neuroscience Ph.D. candidate, on marijuana's mechanisms in the body on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. in Humanities 1B90. We will also hold a silent auction for a Kaplan test prep course (GRE, DAT, OAT, etc.)! Come for some munchies and discussion!
