    RECONCILIATION AND DIVERSITY IN SOUTH AFRICA

    "Reconciliation and Diversity: The South African Model" is a Global Seminar led
    by Professor Alphonse Keasley. This program spends time in Soweto and Cape
    Town and includes guest lecturers from local universities and site visits to the
    Apartheid museum, the Constitutional Court, District Six and Robben Island.
    Open to all majors, fulfills UD Human Diversity Core. Learn more at an

    STALKING: HOW IT IMPACTS YOU! (RUMOR HAS IT SERIES)

    "Rumor Has It" is a program the Women's Resource Center put together to build
    community between students, staff, and faculty and campus resources, while
    having difficult conversations about issues affecting women on and off campus.
    "Rumor Has It" meets on Tuesdays from 12-1 pm in the WRC (UMC 416). Join
    us Oct. 26 for -Stalking: How it impacts you!- with Jessica Ladd-Webert.

    BITCHCRAFT HALLOWEEN PARTY!

    Join Bitchcraft for a kick-off Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 22 from 4-6 pm at
    the Women's Resource Center (UMC 416)! Bitchcraft is a community of women
    that come together to craft and celebrate womanhood. At the party we will be
    painting pumpkins, having a costume contest and eating delicious, free food!
    Bring your Halloween spirit and creativity for these fun festivities!!

    THE WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER IS HIRING!

    The WRC is hiring for a Co-Marketing Coordinator, a paid student staff
    position. Work in a fun, women-centered environment, develop leadership skills
    and work towards social justice and gender equity! Applicants should have some
    design background, marketing experience, and proficiency in Photoshop or
    Illustrator and must be enrolled at CU for 3 semesters starting Spring 2010.

    others? The Women's Resource Center invites you to nominate her for Women
    Who Make a Difference, a celebratory dinner on Dec. 1 for influential women in

    Join us Thursday night, Oct. 21 for "CO Skies: Life After the Space Shuttle"

    Friday night Oct. 22, "Many Faces of Hubble" at 7:30 pm. Sommers-Bausch
    Observatory will be hosting free public viewing Friday at 8 pm, weather
    permitting.

    "Pink Floyd, The Wall", $7 all ages.
