PROFESSIONAL SNOWBOARDER GRETCHEN BLEILER ON CAMPUS TO RAISE
CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS
Professional snowboarder and Olympian Gretchen Bleiler will discuss climate
change at CU-Boulder on Monday, Oct. 11, 6-9 pm in the Glenn Miller
Ballroom of the UMC. Gretchen will speak about global warming and answer
questions, then sign autographs and give away gear from her personal
eco-clothing line while jamming out to local DJs. Doors open at 6 pm.
Tickets are free and open to public at the door, first-come, first-serve.

FALL COLOR TREE WALK
Tuesday, Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 14 at 5 pm both days. (The same tour
will be given both days). Meet at the North entrance to the University of
Colorado Museum of Natural History. Join Alan Nelson (Senior Grounds
Specialist, Facilities Management) on this popular walk and learn about the
numerous varieties of trees on the historic CU campus. Sponsored by

INGENIOUS CHAMBERMAID
CU Boulder, Department of Theatre and Dance presents: -"Ingenious
Chambermaid." Roe Green Visiting Artist Joan Schirle stages this witty
comedy about lessons in good will. Fast-paced and witty, the play is full of

A WOMAN'S GUIDE TO BASIC CAR CARE
The Women's Resource Center and the Sugar Free Feminism Series invites
women to come learn basic car maintenance with a local female auto mechanic,
Sydney LaSasso. Sydney will be answering questions and showing us some
basic preventive maintenance measures that every woman should know. Come
learn how to change a tire, check your oil and make sure your car is
running safely, starting at 5 pm on Thursday, Oct. 7in the WRC (UMC 416)!

THE WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER IS HIRING!
The WRC is hiring for a Co-Marketing Coordinator, a paid student staff
position. Work in a fun, women-centered environment, develop leadership
