ALTERNATIVE BREAKS CALL FOR SITE LEADERS
Alternative Breaks is recruiting Site Leaders for its upcoming Spring Break
2010-2011! Site leaders work with various communities across the US on a
range of issues including: urban poverty, environmental conservation,and

PHYSICALLY INACTIVE SUBJECTS NEEDED FOR MUSCLE SORENESS STUDY-$45
The Department of Integrative Physiology is seeking 18-30 year-old
physically inactive volunteers. Additional activity screening questions will
be asked upon inquiry. You will be asked to run downhill on a treadmill for
40 minutes, which will produce muscle soreness. Blood samples and soreness
ratings will be collected on five occasions. The study will require about
3.5 hours total, spread across eight days. You will be paid $45 for study

FALL LANGUAGE CLASSES AT ALTEC
Registration is now open for the Fall Language Classes at ALTEC. Classes
begin on Sept. 20 and run for 8 weeks. Choose from: Arabic, Chinese,
French, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. These non-credit classes are
open to all CU graduate students. Tuition is $75. See website to register.

STUDENT CONDUCT OFFICE
The Office of Judicial Affairs has a new name! We are now The Office of
Student Conduct. We continue to administer the Student Conduct Code in an
effort to promote individual responsibility and personal development among
students. The code extends to conduct on and off of campus. Our office is
