2010 RECYCLE YOURSELF CAMPUS CHALLENGE
Do you recycle? Register as an organ and tissue donor during the CU Buffs
vs. CSU Rams 2010 Recycle Yourself Campus Challenge. Help the 2,000
Coloradans waiting for a transplant.The winning school will be announced at
the CU-CSU football game on Sept. 4. Out-of-state students should also

GALAPAGOS SOLIDARITY TRIP - ADVENTURE IN PARADISE!
Exploratory mission to San Cristobal Island - Galapagos. Work: improving
safety and recreational conditions for a poor school amidst an environmental
paradise. Help people, help nature. Demanding conditions: remote location
and no services, physical labor, sleep on the floor, cook ourselves. Male
volunteers invited by local priest Fr. Cadena. Volunteers are not required
to be Catholic but must be respectful of culture and open to spirituality in
general. Dates: Dec 26-Jan 9. Sponsored by Creatio, an independent
CU-Boulder student group.

CU's Public Achievement program seeks to empower under-served secondary
students in Boulder County. Acting as mentor-coaches, CU undergraduates
support high school students in developing social action projects to address
relevant community issues. To participate, enroll in INVS2919: Renewing
Democracy through Communities & Schools, meeting Mondays, 3-4:30 p.m.
Additionally, coaches meet at Centaurus High School in Lafayette, Fridays
from 12-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m,. OR 2-3 p.m. For information or to register for
