    VOULUNTEERS NEEDED FOR VASCULAR HEALTH STUDY

    The Integrative Physiology of Aging Lab is looking for volunteers to
    study the effects of aging and cardiovascular disease risk factors on
    blood vessel function.
    If you are:
    -Aged 18-32 years
    -A non-smoker
    -Not taking prescription medications
    -Not aerobically active
    You may qualify.
    Benefits Include:
    -Detailed Blood panel (including: cholesterol and glucose)
    -Body composition analysis

    THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS "BLOOD WEDDING"

    This tragic play explores the theme of inevitable fate whereby the
    disasters of the past are repeated in the present. Entwined with Lorca's
    poetry as well as Spanish guitar - Lorca's passion - Blood Wedding
    focuses on a bride forced to choose between duty and love on her wedding

    Jan 19 is the last day to affiliate with a political party in order to
    take part in the Colorado caucus! Rock out with your caucus out to our

    A&S MAGAZINE UPDATE: SEX, 'LIES' AND VIDEOTAPE; INDIA'S BIG GULP;
    MOLDING BETTER SCIENCE TEACHERS

    In the newest issue of Colorado Arts & Sciences Magazine: "Sex, 'lies'
    and videotape" details a CU anthropologist's debunking of a critic of
    Margaret Mead. A physicist shows how "India's big gulp" is depleting
    groundwater on which 600 million people depend. Throughout the
    university, scholars responding to a national crisis and are finding and
    testing ways to mold more and better K-12 science and math teachers.

    POLITICAL POWERHOUSES: THREE WOMEN WHO DID NOT STAND IDLY BY

    Join CU Professor Zilla Goodman for a discussion that examines the lives
    of three remarkable Jewish mavericks: Henrietta Szold, Manya Shochat and
    Rosa Luxemburg. Although undeniably different in so many respects, these
    political powerhouses were figures who contributed much to the political
    and social thought in the first half of the 20th century in Israel and

    "From Tel Aviv to Ramallah" presents the parallel stories of Israelis
    and Palestinians and presents a vision of peace. Yuri Lane brings the
    Middle East to life through the hip-hop medium of beatbox combined with

    The Buff's first COED A Cappella group, Extreme Measures, is holding
    auditions. We are a student group that loves singing and music. Artists
    we cover range from The Jackson 5 to Radiohead. All experience levels
