    CAMPUS PRESS OPEN FORUM ON DIVERSITY ISSUES

    The Campus Press hosts an open forum 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, Glenn
    Miller ballroom, UMC to discuss how the student publication can expand
    coverage of diversity issues on the CU campus. Faculty, student leaders,
    community diversity leaders and Front Range journalists will speak on
    striking a balance on covering diversity issues in journalism. An open
    question-answer period that includes Campus Press members will follow
    the speakers.

    FREE SHOWING OF "FRIDA" ON FRIDAY CHEM 140

    Part of the Miramontes Women in Music and Arts Festival, "Frida" stars
    Salma Hayak as artist Frida Khalo. The movie chronicles her relationship
    with fellow painter Diego Rivera, Leon Trotsky and other controversial
    affairs that made her the bold, political and sexual women she was. This
    Free showing is 9 p.m., Friday, March 14, Chem 140. No tickets

    COME AND DANCE WITH RADIO 1190 AND PROGRAM COUNCIL
    ON SATURDAY AT CLUB 156!

    After a successful bash in February, Radio 1190 and Program Council have
    teamed up again to present this semester's second dance party! Radio
    1190 DJ's will be spinning dance beats until midnight, a perfect start
    to a Saturday night. Come and dance at this completely free event. This

    CENTER FOR ASIAN STUDIES LUNCHEON SERIES: THE CULTURAL ECONOMY OF
    JAPONICA RICE IN CHINA

    Quality food and quality people! Join CAS for a talk by Amy Zader, PhD
    candidate in the department of Geography. She will talk about the growth
    of the market for Japonica rice-rice that is considered to be 'high
    quality' among China's urban consumers. This talk will also explore the
    development of a 'quality' population promoted by the state. This
    presentation will be at noon, Wednesday, March 12, HUMN 230. Lunch will
