HOLOCAUST AWARENESS WEEK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Want to help execute CU's 24th Annual Holocaust Awareness Week next
week? The planning has been done. Now we just need you to help make it
happen. Come to the one time Volunteer Orientation this Thursday, 2/21,
7pm, UMC 382.

INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN A SLEEP STUDY?
Looking for healthy women and men ages 18-40 to participate in a three
and a half day sleep study at the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Participants will receive free medical screening and can earn up to

three and a half day PNP study.

RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS? COME AND ASK THE DATE DOCTOR FOR HELP!
Remember the movie Hitch? Similar to Will Smith's character in the
movie, a real life date doctor is coming to CU to help you with your
relationship troubles! There will be an hour question and answer session
where he can offer you advice, then a free showing of Hitch. This free
event is on Monday, Feb. 25 at 8pm in Chem 140. Doors are at 7:30pm. For

ADULT SWIM CLASSES
The Student Recreation Center has two new sessions of "Adult
Learn-to-Swim" classes beginning the week of Feb. 25; including
"Advanced Beginning Swimmming" (on Tuesday & Thursday nights), and
"Intermediate Swimming" (on Monday & Wednesday nights). These 4-week
classes run from 6-7pm each night (respectively), and are available by
registration only.

CELEBRATION OF RECOVERY MEETING MONDAYS
The Center for Students in Recovery invites you to attend its weekly
Twelve Step Open Meeting for students, faculty and staff as well as the
Boulder community on Mondays in Willard 231 from 5:30-6:30pm. We provide
support, recovery information, and celebrate milestones for those in
recovery as well as family members or friends. Pizza will be served

SOBER BOWLING
Sober Bowling Night is this Friday, from 6-8pm at The Connection at UMC.
This is a substance free event for students who choose not to drink
alcohol and/or use substances. The cost is $3.50 for each person which
includes rental shoes. Just tell the attendant you're there for this

BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER FREE MOVIE SHOWING!
Have you seen the comedy But I'm A Cheerleader? Interested in LGBTQ and
tobacco social justice issues? Join Community Health and the GLBT
Resource center for a free showing of the movie on Friday, Feb. 22, at
1:30pm in the Dennis Small Culture Center, UMC 457. To be followed by a
discussion about the portrayal of tobacco use in the movie and within
the LGBTQ community. Snacks will be served.
