ITS WEB SITE REDESIGN PARTICIPANTS NEEDED!
The ITS web site is being redesigned. We need a handful of student
volunteers to participate in a card sorting exercise on Thursday,
December 6, 2-3 pm in Telecommunications Center room 215. This simple
exercise will help us determine how content should be categorized and
cross referenced. You have a chance to make an impact on how our site
is designed and to eat some cookies. Please contact Rochelle Scott if

CELEBRATION OF RECOVERY MEETING, MONDAY
The Center for Students in Recovery invites you to attend its weekly
Twelve Step Open Meeting for students, faculty and staff as well as the
Boulder community on Mondays in Willard 231, 5:30-6:30 pm. We provide
support, recovery information and celebrate milestones for those in
recovery as well as family members or friends. Pizza and fruit will be

SOUNDBITES PRESENTS, LUNCHTIME ENTERTAINMENT FROM TAARKA
The Student Programs Office presents a SoundBite performance by the
acoustic world fusion jazz band, Taarka. Come see the acclaimed multi
instrumentalists play a SoundBite event and enjoy free cookies courtesy
of the Building Community Campaign! The performance will take place on
November 28, 12-1 pm in the UMC atrium. Get a taste of the experimental
gypsy music while tasting your lunch!

RUNNING IN CIRCLES? HAVING TROUBLE BALANCING SCHOOL, WORK AND PLAY?
Learn to manage your life with this Time Management workshop presented
by CU GOLD Leadership Program. Many techniques will be presented to
help you manage your schedule, increase your efficiency and rebalance
your life in order to make the most of your day, everyday. Thursday,

WORLD AIDS DAY
In honor of AIDS Awareness Month, Dennis Small Cultural Center, in
collaboration with the Sexual Health Education Program, will be hosting
a World AIDS Day event November 29, 5-7 pm. Located in UMC room 457,
there will be ribbon making projects, free HIV testing and some take
home info about AIDS and resources. HIV has not gone away and there are
many things that can be done. Increase your awareness, fight prejudice
and improve your education.

PEACE CORPS NATIONAL DIRECTOR VISITS CU
On November 29, CU will host the National Director of the Peace Corps,
Ron Tschetter. CU is proud to welcome Director Tschetter as the #1
university in the country of currently serving volunteers per capita.
All are invited to hear him speak about his service in India and career
in the business world. Thursday, November 29, 3 pm, Koelbel 102,
beverages provided.

Join us for a week of events honoring World AIDS Day, Tuesday, November
27, 6-9 pm, UMC Senior Dedication Lounge, room 227. Movie is "Rent,"
Thursday, November 29, 5-9 pm, UMC Dennis Smalls Cultural Center, room
457, Open House. Community resources, free HIV testing, free
refreshments. Friday, November, 30, 11 am-2 pm, UMC Grill Area, Wall of
Support. Show your support by picking up and wearing a red ribbon, get
information and supplies.
