STUDY DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN MONGOLIA THIS SUMMER! INTEREST MEETING
NOVEMBER 16
Spend three weeks this summer studying contemporary issues in Mongolia
through the medium of digital photography. Earn three credits in studio
arts and credit for the Arts and Science core requirement "Cultural and
Gender Diversity" through lectures and visits to historical and
cultural sites. The program is led by Ken Iwamasa from the Department

ASTRONAUT SCOTT CARPENTER TO TOUCH DOWN AT CU!
You are invited to hear a lecture by Mercury 7 and Hall of Fame
astronaut, Scott Carpenter. This is the chance of a lifetime to
discover more about his experiences during the days of NASA's early
program! Following the lecture, Scott Carpenter will present CU
engineering physics and applied mathematics student, Ben Safdi, with a
2007-2008 Astronaut Scholarship award. November 15, 3 pm, Discovery

NEWS FROM THE LIBRARIES: HOURS REDUCED FALL BREAK/THANKSGIVING
The Fall Break/Thanksgiving library hours are as follows, open Friday,
November 16, 8 am-5 pm. Closed Saturday-Sunday, November 17-18.
Open Monday-Wednesday, November 19-21, 8 am-5 pm. Closed
Thursday-Saturday, November 22-24. Regular hours will resume Sunday,
November 25, 12 pm-12 am. Hours are available at
