    NORLIN'S FALL EVENT SERIES- HPV VACCINATION: WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

    Tuesday, Nov. 13, 7-9 pm, Norlin Library's 5th Floor. Should all young
    women to be vaccinated for HPV? What are the reasons behind it? Does
    everyone agree or are there other concerns? How are men affected by HPV
    and what can they do to protect their partners? Come and discuss the

    BOSTON BRASS AT MACKY NOVEMBER 8

    The Artist Series brings the Boston Brass to Macky Auditorium Thursday,
    Nov. 8 at 7:30pm. From exciting classical arrangements to breathtaking
    harmony, Boston Brass achieves new levels in brass performance while
    treating audiences to a unique musical experience. The ensemble's lively
    repartee bridges classical formality to delight audiences with
    boisterous fun, insightful knowledge and an enthusiastic love of music.

    ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS

    The Student Recreation Center has a new session of adult swimming
    lessons beginnning the week of Nov. 5. Intermediate swimming lessons run
    on Monday & Wednesday nights, while Practical (or advanced) swimming
    lessons run on Tuesday & Thursday nights. These classes are available to
    current CU Students and to adult members of the Recreation Center;
    however, class space is limited. Registration is going on now at the
    Student Rec Center.

    GOT YOUR FLU SHOT?

    If you missed the Flu Shot Clinic last week, don't worry! We'll have flu
    shots on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 8:30 - 11am and 1:30-4pm (walk-in) at
    Wardenburg Health Center for students, staff, and faculty. Flu shots are
    $25 and paid for with cash, check, or credit card (VISA or MasterCard).
    No cost for students with the Student Gold Health Insurance. Make sure
    you're vaccinated before flu season!

    CU GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY

    The Graduate Certificate Program in Science and Technology Policy at
    CU-Boulder is a rigorous educational program to prepare students
    pursuing graduate degrees for careers at the interface of science,
    technology, and decision making. Upon completion students will have an
    understanding of the societal context of science and technology and an
    introduction to policy analysis methodologies used in decision settings.

    VOLUNTEER WITH LEGOS!

    Every year elementary and middle school students from the Boulder area
    compete in the first Lego League Challenge. A tournament is hosted by
    Community Relations at CU-Boulder. We are looking for volunteers to help
    with the 2007 competition on Nov. 17. If you are interested, please
