    Help Boulder Become Bear Aware!

    Join CU WILD, Sinapu, Sierra Club and In Defense of Animals in a community
    service project to raise Boulder's bear awareness. We will be teaming up and
    patrolling western Boulder neighborhoods in the evenings looking for potential
    bear attractants and educating citizens in ways to keep bears and people safe.
    Fun, easy and a great way to meet new people. Good for community service hours.

    New classes are just beginning in Latin Dance, Cuban Salsa, Belly Dance, Hip
    Hop, Swing Dance, and Ballroom Dancing. New classes are also just beginning in

    Center for Asian Studies Luncheon Series: The View from Hyderabad: Observations
    on 21st Century India

    Professor William Wei, Department of History, attended a faculty development
    seminar at the University of Hyderabad in summer, 2007. He will discuss his
    observations about contemporary India and the prospects for its development
    during the 21st century. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 23
    from noon to 1:00pm in Old Main 1B85. Lunch will be provided. For more

    A Sneak Peak at Battle of the Bands

    SoundBite is giving you a sneak peak of this year's Battle of the Bands! Lilly
    Scott, lead singer of Varlet, will perform an acoustic set in UMC atrium.
    Varlet, a local folk indie band, is competing in this year's Battle. The
    performance will take place Thursday, October 25th between Noon-1:00 PM. Don't
