CHECK OUT CU FENCING!
Mask. Glove. Sword. Fence. The CU Fencing Club invites you to check out
the beginner instructional program at the Recreation Center. Two
classes per semester are offered and the second session will be
starting soon! The first night of class is March 20 at 6 pm. Register

PEACE CORPS EXTRAVAGANZA WEDNESDAY!
Join the Peace Corps and help improve the lives of others while gaining
hands on experience in your field, opening doors for your career and/or
educational future. Join us for the Peace Corps Extravaganza,
Wednesday, March 21, 7 pm in UMC Room 235. We'll present basic
information and a video that illustrates life as a volunteer. Also,
returned volunteers will share their experiences.

SEEKING STUDENT MEMBERS FOR PROGRAM ACCESS COMMITTEE
The Chancellor's Program Access Committee (PAC) is looking for one or
two student members. The committee discusses physical and program
obstacles on campus for students and faculty/staff with disabilities
and makes recommendations for addressing these issues. The committee
also makes recommendations to the Chancellor on complying with the
Americans with Disabilities Act. Committee members attend meetings
during the third Friday of the month at 12 pm at the UMC.

the Cultural Events Board, the student operated organization that
brings great speakers such as Maya Angelou and Howard Zinn to campus,

tell us what cultural events you'd like to see! Space is limited, so

WHO OWNS PINK? AT THE UMC ART GALLERY
"Who Owns Pink," is now on view at the UMC Art Gallery. In "Who Owns
Pink," Boulder artist Gayle Crites uses works on paper, mixed media and
even stitched paper to explore culture questions of femininity or
"pinkness." The UMC Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the
UMC near the reception desk, and open Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm. On view
through April 13, closed spring break.

CHANCELLOR'S FLAGSHIP 2030 OPEN FORUM
Chancellor G. P. Peterson invites the CU-Boulder community to an Open
Forum on the Flagship 2030 Strategic Planning Initiative. Wednesday,
April 4, 10-11:30 am, University Memorial Center 235. Possible topics,
How the CU-Boulder graduate in 2030 will create the new Googles, How
higher tuition will improve access and Becoming "a mountain in a flat
world." Refreshments available.
