    DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS "MEDEA"

    First performed in 431 BC, Euripides', "Medea" tells the story of the
    jealously and revenge of a woman betrayed by her husband. The
    University of Colorado Department of Theatre and Dance will produce
    "Medea" in the University Loft Theatre. For tickets or more information

    7-10 at 8 pm, March 10-11 at 2 pm. Ticket prices are $15 for general
    public, $12 for student, and $13 for faculty/staff.

    THE FINAL OPEN FORUMS

    The Flagship 2030 Steering Committee invites the participation of the
    CU-Boulder community. Subcommittees, Relationship with Boulder:

    300 YEARS OF GOLDONI!

    The Department of French and Italian at CU Boulder celebrates the 300th
    Anniversary of the birth of Carlo Goldoni, the famous Italian dramatist
    of the 1700s, with an exhibit, "Goldoni & Venice," in the CU Humanities
    living area on the first floor of the Humanities building, throughout
    the day of Monday, Feb. 26. The film, "Servant of Two Masters" will be
    shown in HUMN 150 on Feb. 26 at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome!

    DON'T MISS OUT ON DISPATCH'S NEW BAND, STATE RADIO! CONCERT THIS
    SATURDAY!

    Combining rock and reggae genres, State Radio will rock your face off
    with their powerful stage presence and socially driven lyrics. Having
    toured Vans Warped Tour and with RX Bandits, the band will play Glenn
    Miller Ballroom on Feb. 24. Tickets are available in the UMC
    Connection. Doors open at 7:30 pm. The New Amsterdams and Street to

    FIRST PERSON CINEMA PRESENTS STACEY STEERS

    First Person Cinema is happy to present Stacey Steers on Monday, Feb.
    26 at 7:30 pm in ATLAS 100. Stacey Steers constructs her films from
    thousands of hand made collages and drawings. Her work has been
    featured at several film festivals, and she currently teaches her at
    CU-Boulder! Her presentation will include discussion with the artist
    plus three short animated films: Watunna, Totem and Phantom Canyon.

    CHANCELLOR'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON MINORITY AFFAIRS AWARDS

    As part of the 12th Annual Diversity Summit, the Department of Human
    Resources and the Hallet Hall diversity staff were presented with CACMA
    Diversity Recognition Awards for their dedicated work on issues of
    diversity at a luncheon reception. In addition, Vice Provost/Associate
    Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Equity Christie Yoshinaga-Itano and
    MaryAnn Sargeant, program coordinator in the Office of Diversity and
    Equity, received CACMA Special Recognition Awards for their commitment
    to furthering diversity on campus.

    SLEEP TO THE SLOPES ON THE CU SKI BUS

    The CU Ski Bus is headed for Keystone and Breckenridge this weekend! On
    Saturday and Sunday, our comfortable tour bus will depart campus at
    6:30 am. I know that sounds early, but since the bus driver will be
    doing all the work you can relax, sleep, watch a movie and enjoy
    complimentary Clif bars. Your ticket is waiting for you at the CU
    recreation center. They are $10 round trip.

    TEACH ENGLISH IN THE HEART OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA THIS SUMMER

    This summer a non-profit Orbis Institute plans to bring 47 globally
    minded college students to Henan Province to teach English for five
    weeks. We are looking for college students with a passion for building
    global civil society and adventurous spirits, after all, you're going
    deep into China's interior. Information meeting next Monday, Feb. 26 at
    7 pm in Humanities 1B50. When? June 26-Aug 1. Application at the link
