CU Continuing Education has 10 evening classes starting March 12-13 and

CELEBRATION OF RECOVERY WEDNESDAY
The Center for Students in Recovery invites you to attend this Twelve
Step open meeting for students, faculty, and staff in or thinking about
recovery from any addiction or co-dependency or who have friends or
loved ones with addiction. We provide support, recovery information,
and celebrate recovery milestones. See you Wednesday, 7-8 pm in Willard

FISKE PLANETARIUM NEWS
Take in "New Horizons at Jupiter" with Fiske's own Suzanne Traub-Metlay
this Thursday and Friday, Feb. 22-23! Sommers-Bausch Observatory is
open at 8 pm, Friday for night sky viewing, weather permitting. Friday
night lasers: Laser Beastie Boys at 9:30 pm and Laser Pink Floyd: Dark
Side of the Moon at 10:45 pm! Saturday, Feb. 24 matinees are "Kids in
Space" at 2 pm and "Peter and the Wolf" at 3:15 pm.

HOLOCAUST AWARENESS WEEK
Holocaust Awareness Week, Feb. 26-March 2. Monday evening at 7 pm,
Pierre Sauvage, a survivor saved by a Christian community will be
speaking in the Glenn Miller Ballroom. Tuesday evening at 7 pm, Michael
Berenbaum, an historian will be speaking about what motivates
individuals to save others. Wednesday evening at 7 pm, Deborah Lipstadt
will be speaking about the realities of Anti-Semitism today. All
presentations are free and open tot the public.

PAPER AIRPLANE CONTEST!

GET READY FOR NAOMI WOLF'S LECTURE, DISCUSS HER BOOK THE BEAUTY MYTH:
HOW IMAGES OF BEAUTY ARE USED AGAINST WOMEN
Discuss Naomi Wolf's book The Beauty Myth on Monday, Feb. 26, 12-1 pm
in UMC 457, Dennis Small Cultural Center or on Monday March 5, 6-7 pm
at the Boulder Bookstore. We will consider the implications of beauty
standards and examine strategies for change, in a relaxed and informal
atmosphere. You're welcome whether you've read the whole book or only a
chapter. Book discussions will precede Wolf's lecture on March 6 in the
UMC ballroom.
