SUBJECT: Announcement of a New Benefit Program - Sittercity

Dear CU-Boulder Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students,

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new benefit program, Sittercity.com, that is available to our faculty, staff and graduate students. We are launching this program as part of our ongoing efforts to become an Employer of Choice, achieve the goals of Flagship 2030, and to help meet the work-life needs of our faculty, staff and graduate students.

Sittercity.com is an online platform used by a number of our peer universities that connects you to pre-screened babysitters, nannies, elder care providers, tutors, pet care providers and housekeeping services. Your membership to this service is paid for by the university. You hire and negotiate the fee for any provider you use.

Sittercity has a nationwide network of providers that you can access anywhere in the country, whether you need last minute backup care, ongoing child care or if you need an eldercare provider for a family member that lives here or in another state. Some of the child care options include nannies, before- and after-school care, holiday care, sick child care, infant and young child care and child care for children with special needs. Some of the eldercare options include providers that have specialized experience and certifications, such as certified nursing assistants and registered nurses.

We are very excited to be able to provide this service to our employees and graduate students and we hope you will take advantage of this new program. For more information, please visit the Department of Human Resources website at http://hr.colorado.edu/fsap/Pages/Sittercity.aspx

To activate your free membership, visit http://www.sittercity.com/CU

    Sincerely,

Russ Moore, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
Jeff Lipton, Interim Vice Chancellor for Administration
