    Buffs,

    Next week is election week. This is your time to evaluate the candidates and decide who will be best suited to handle your $34 million dollars. These candidates will spend a year in office. During that time they will create policy for the University and fund projects for our beloved Recreation Center, Wardenburg Health Center, and UMC. They will also provide funding for student clubs and other programs.

    On Monday the 26th of October, there will be a candidates' debate in Humanities 1B50 at 7:00 PM. At this event the candidates will discuss how they plan to help improve the University of Colorado Campus and Community. Stop by and support your candidate.

    Below is the list of candidates who are running for election:

    FOCUS

    * Blaine Pellicore - UCSU Representative at Large
    * Will Taylor - UCSU Representative at Large
    * Sanket Merchant - UCSU Representative at Large
    * Rebecca Aguilar - UCSU Representative at Large
    * Hunter Barnett - UCSU Representative at Large
    * Alyssa Bamonti - Arts and Sciences Student Government
    * Pranav Reddy - Arts and Sciences Student Government
    Goals:
    1. Responsible use of Student Fees
    2. Provide availability and Support to all CU communities
    3. Apply past experience to progressive solutions
    4. Accurate representation of all students

    Independent Candidates
    * Shane Grigsby - UCSU Representative at Large
    Goals:
    1. Cap or reduce the cost of Wardenburg health care services
    2. Continue the pursuit of increasing our campus's sustainability
    3. Improve sustainability on campus
    4. No new student fees

    * Nick Smiley - UCSU Representative at Large

    * Eric Chan - Arts and Sciences Student Government (Write-In)
    Goals:
    1. Represent the minority communities on campus through cultural awareness
    2. Work to regulate tuition rates
    3. Increase campus safety
    4. Go Green! Increasing the eco-friendliness of our University
