SUBJECT: FLOBOTS Concert on CU Campus!
Program Council, the same organization that brought you Girl Talk in the fall and Modest Mouse in February, is proud to present THE FLOBOTS in Glenn Miller Ballroom on Sunday, March 15th.
The Flobots, one of Colorado's biggest music success stories, have achieved national recognition with their hit single "Handlebars", and are touring internationally in support of their album Fight with Tools. Starting out in the local music scene, they gained recognition after winning Denver's 93.3 Hometown for the Holiday's contest in 2007, and were soon signed to major label, Universal Republic Records. Since, they've played alongside bands like Rise Against, Beck, T.I., Matisyahu, and Rage Against the Machine, among others.
Politically-charged and socially-conscious, the Flobots music carries a powerful message. The six-piece group was very active throughout the past election, even playing various events at the Democratic National Convention. Now, the Flobots are back in Colorado and ready to take on the CU campus in a concert that promises to be one of the best of the year.
The Flobots play Sunday, March 15th in Glenn Miller Ballroom at 8 pm (doors open at 7 pm). Tickets are $10 for PC VIP, $12 for students, and $15 day of show. They are available in the UMC Connection with your BuffCard. Tickets will sell out fast, so be sure to get yours today!
