    SUBJECT: Family Weekend

    Dear CU student:

This weekend is Family Weekend on the CU-Boulder campus. In the interests of
being good hosts to your families and making them as proud of your university
as we are, we are taking this opportunity encourage each of you to welcome
visitors to the campus this weekend and to demonstrate at all times the
character, idealism and personal responsibility that distinguishes our student
body as one of college football's best.

Kickoff for this Saturday's matchup against Kansas State is at 5:10 p.m. We ask
that you plan to arrive early to better enjoy the exciting and energized
atmosphere in the stadium prior to game time. While at the game, respect the
rights of fellow fans, visitors and other spectators and never throw anything
on the field. Impress your families and those of your fellow students with
your conduct! Demonstrate positive fan behavior - remember CU games promote a
family atmosphere, and this is Family Weekend -- little Buffs are watching!

We urge all student fans with student tickets to sit together in the general
admission student section. Because the game is nearly sold out, fans with
assigned seats should sit in their seats, not in the student section.

Please be safe and courteous. Students who engage in pre-game drinking could
be denied entry to the game or removed from the stadium if they are drunk or
disruptive. Students who have over-consumed alcohol and are slurring their
words, having trouble walking or standing up or who are passed out should be
taken to a hospital immediately. Students who seek medical assistance for
another student will not be subject to formal university disciplinary action.

Respect yourself. Respect others. Respect the game. Go Buffs!
