SUBJECT: Vote for The One Ticket
Dear Students,
We are the One ticket and we are committed to representing the student body as
a whole. Historically, the average student is not well represented in CU's
student government, and many students are unaware of UCSU. In fact, a great
deal of students have no idea what UCSU is. This is an issue to address and
problem to solve, if the University wants to understand and respond to the will
of its students. In order to create a more memorable and effective student
government, we have created a ticket with this goal in mind: To accurately
represent the students and members of the University of Colorado learning
community. The One Ticket is composed of strong leaders from a variety of
interests at CU, including: club sports, honors programs, the Greek community,
entering freshman, service organizations and many other student groups. We have
the ability to listen to students, represent students, and unite students into
"One" student body.
Here are some of the things that we want to do for you:
1. Accurate representation of CU students
2. Effective communication between the average student, UCSU, and CU's
administration
3. Stable and reasonable student fees
4. 24 hour study areas for students
5. An Environmentally sustainable campus environment
6. Increased levels of funding from state legislature
7. Improvement to CU's recreation facilities
8. The ability to reschedule a midterm if you have three in one day
