    SUBJECT: Please update your address

Our records indicate we do not have your local/mailing address and/or phone
number on our student database, or it is listed as an out-of-state address
and/or phone number. It is very important that we have this information from
you, mainly as an emergency contact, but also for the following reasons:

    - Important mailings are still sent from the University, including
outstanding bills (if you don't have a separate billing address), financial aid
documents, academic information, and other vital information to your student
    life.

    - In the event one of your instructors, or a staff member from the
    University needs to reach you.

    - Other students need to reach you and look for this information in
either the printed or on-line directory. We can only release your
local/mailing phone number for this purpose; we cannot release your permanent
phone number due to privacy restrictions.

To give us all of your address information, please go to the PLUS site at
    http://plus.colorado.edu/plus/, or through CUConnect at
https://cuconnect.colorado.edu. Go to the Address/PIN change and select
-Change Address Information-. The address selection you want is -Mailing-, but
you may select any other addresses that need to be updated. Cell phone numbers
are acceptable to list as a local phone number.

If you are concerned about your keeping this information private, a -limited
privacy- option is available to you. Limited privacy allows us to share
enrollment information, etc. with callers, but does prevent release of
    enrollment and address information to:

     Campus Web Directory (411)

     Campus Directory Assistance (2-1411)

Residence Hall or Family Housing Directory Assistance

Off-campus requestors who desire lists and labels of enrolled students.

Student e-memos deemed "general" in content.

If you are interested in this limited privacy option, please come to the Office
of the Registrar between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
