SUBJECT: Basketball Games Affect Parking and Traffic
Despite Parking and Transportation Services' best efforts to facilitate
movement of CU basketball traffic, Regent Drive and parking lots near the Coors
Events/Conference Center can be overwhelmed by the number of vehicles on campus
for a game. Pre-game traffic begins an hour before game time. Post game traffic
begins 1 - hours after a game's start, and it could continue up to an hour
after the game ends depending on crowd size. Listen to KTLK AM 760 or KVCU AM
1190 for game status. Please use this information as you plan campus activities
on Wednesdays and Saturdays this spring.
Parking and Transportation holds spaces for permit holders during games as long
as feasible. We will direct you to an alternate parking lot if your lot becomes
overwhelmed and is not available to you. Please move your vehicle into your
permitted parking lot as soon as possible after a game. All lots will be
managed as usual by 7:30 a.m. the following morning.
